Horton Plains
This national park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has wide grasslands, cloud forests, and cliffs. Horton Plains is a sanctuary for nature and wildlife lovers. It is known for World’s End, a cliff that has one of the most beautiful views in Sri Lanka. Walking along its misty paths is a nice way to get away from it all and into a world that hasn't been touched.
Ella
Ella is a picturesque village in the highlands that is a dream come true for outdoor lovers. It offers beautiful hiking routes, waterfalls, and views of verdant valleys from every angle. The community is famous for the famous Ella Rock and the Nine Arches Bridge. It is a great place to go on an adventure or relax. It's a peaceful area where the natural world and the kind locals come together.
Haputale / Lipton’s Seat
You can't miss Haputale and Lipton's Seat if you want to see tea estates and foggy mountains from all sides. This viewpoint, named after Sir Thomas Lipton, whose legacy is deeply tied to ‘Ceylon Tea’, offers a beautiful view of the hills and valleys around it. This is a great spot to think and connect with nature, thanks to its peaceful setting and vast tea plantations.
